CTV Olympics - Rosslands decision not to fund athlete causes rift
I think we need to do whatever we can to get our Kootenay boy to the Olympics. Local fundraiser perhaps? Rossland....I'm ashamed of you. It's $10,000 to reach his Olympic goals on home turf for the never ending support and benefits George sends back after every single race with Rossland in the results.

There is a fundraiser set for Oct. 17 in Rossland for George. Tickets are $35 (includes dinner, entertainment, etc). If you care to join us, please do. If you can't make it, consider putting the purchase price of a ticket toward the following account set up for George.
